Awakening or Something Else?
There is a particular kind of person who finds themselves here. They might not necessarily believe they are possessed, but rather, sense that something very powerful has awakened within them. Some symptoms include:
-
Sudden energy surges.
-
Heightened perception and awareness.
-
Altered states of consciousness.
-
Physical sensations along the spine.
-
Disruption to sleep.
-
Moments of profound bliss followed by feelings of fear or doom.
Then comes the question: Is this a spiritual awakening or is something overtaking me? The irony is that genuine spiritual awakening can feel destabilizing. When consciousness expands faster than the nervous system can integrate, the experience can feel invasive rather than transcendent.
Kundalini awakening, the rising of life force energy is not possession. It is an intensification of your own consciousness. Without grounding, support, and integration, that intensity can be misinterpreted as external intrusion.
At the same time, discernment matters. Not every altered state is awakening, not every disturbance is spiritual, and not every surge of energy is meant to be forced or accelerated. My role is to help you determine:
-
Is this an awakening process that needs grounding and containment?
-
Is this trauma or nervous system activation expressed symbolically?
-
Is this environmental or energetic overwhelm?
-
Or is this something else entirely?
Awakening should ultimately lead to greater sovereignty not loss of self. If what you are experiencing feels destabilizing, frightening, or beyond your capacity to integrate alone, you deserve calm guidance. Fear and alarmism have no place in true spiritual awakening. Begin with a consultation so we can discern what is truly unfolding.
